Collagen Production and Menopause

Many of my clients come to the clinic saying things like: “I feel like I aged overnight,” or “I just noticed lines around my eyes last week.”The truth is, aging doesn’t happen suddenly—it’s a gradual process. But often, we don’t notice the subtle changes until they become more visible and harder to ignore.
One of the key factors in this process is menopause :
After menopause, women lose an average of 30% of their collagen production, followed by about 2% more each year. This sharp decline in collagen leads to reduced skin elasticity and hydration, which explains why fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin can seem to appear so quickly.
My Recommendations
To slow down and counteract these changes, I recommend treatments that stimulate and boost the Fibroblasts to increase the production of collagen and cell renewal:
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) or Micro needling with Radiofrequency – to boost new collagen production and improve skin tightness.
Mesotherapy with Hyaluronic Acid Skin Boosters – to deeply hydrate the skin.
Polynucleotide (Salmon DNA) Therapy – to revitalize and repair skin at a cellular level.
By incorporating these treatments regularly, you can help your skin maintain its elasticity, hydration, and youthful glow for longer.
